My laptop seems to show both that Acrobat DC is installed and not installed. My concern is that the inconsistent state for Acrobat DC on my laptop may not be resolved by this and could still prevent install of Acrobat DC. I'm not finding a way to get it back to the 'Install' state. It seems to be stuck in an inconsistent state that won't let me get Acrobat DC installed again. When I try another Uninstall, it completes very quickly (because it isn't installed), but still just shows the non-working 'Open' button instead of an 'Install' button. Eventually I reverted to the previous Windows version, which put most things back to normal, except now I don't have Acrobat installed.Ĭreative Cloud shows the button as 'Open' for Acrobat DC, but does nothing since it is no longer installed on my laptop. I was also having similar issues with Outlook, so right and left hands weren't playing nice together.
